May they be ashamed and may they be abashed, those who seek after my soul may they be pushed backwards and may they be humiliated, those who delight in my misery. |
yêbôshû weyachperû mebaqeshêy napheshîy yiççôgû ’âchôwr weyikkâlemû chaphêtsêy râ‘âthîy |

May they turn on the consequences of their shame, those who keep saying, “Aha, aha”. |
yâshûbû ‘al-‘êqeb bâshetâm hâ’ômerîym he’âch he’âch |

Let them exult and let them rejoice in You, all those who seek after You And let them say continually, “Exalt Elohim!”, those who love your salvation |
